Chamoy is a condiment made from chili, salt, sugar, and water. Our "Xamoy" is between sweet, sour and spicy.
Chamoy is the king of "chili sweets", the spicy touch that it has combined with the sweet makes it consumed by children and adults. It is common to accompany fruits with chamoy: mango, strawberries, apples and also vegetables such as cucumber and jicama. Its use in cocktails is frequent including "martinis with chamoy", "micheladas con chamoy", "baby mango"
Water, sugar, salt, citric acid, arbol chili, guajillo chili, xanthan gum, lemon juice, 0.1% sodium benzoate as a preservative and coloring (red FD&C 40).
